The Waking Hour
Well it was one of those night
Down by the water
Oceans of time flowing through my head
Under the mystery lights
And in the space of an hour
I held a reflection in my heart
That always remains…

Like a long lost friend
From a place in time… far way
Well I found your name
And seen you Love shine
And I felt your Rage
For all their lies and how they turned away
Caught in the silence of the day

Yeah it was one of those nights
Down by the water
Notions of Life running through my head
Until the morning light
Forever changed… by the hour
When I held a reflection in my heart
That always remains…

Like a long lost friend
From a place in time… far way
Well I found your name
And seen you Love shine
And I felt your Rage
For all the times when they turned away
Caught in the silence of the day

Sumina, Sumina-manayo
Sumina, Sumina-manayo
Sumina, Sumina-manayo

All We Made
Silken flowers in a vase
Saddened eyes and a look of waste
Shattered dreams in a mystery landscape

Maybe some water might do
Or a little time just to think things through
Maybe it all was not meant for you

The roman candles lit the night
As we looked in to each others eyes
And all the stars they were shining bright
On that summer night

While the sounds poured off the stage
Echoing out all the love and rage
For all the choices that we made
Yeah this is all that
Yeah this is all that we made

And it seems no matter what I do
Don’t it always come down to me and you
Well I’m gonna try now to be true,
let’s all be true

For after all gets said and done
Well you know we’re not the only ones
And it’s such a long, long way to the sun
It’s such a long way
It’s such a long way to the sun

Simon Leahy's Daughter
Simon lives his life in a corner
No he never ventures out beyond the borders
Of his tall security

And no he never seems to wonder
What it is or what he might discover
If the walls were gone
and the miles were plain to see

But Simon Leahy has a daughter
And she’s got a dream,
She says she’d like to discover
All that going on
through the miles of in between

And now she’s turning around
Moving in one direction
Trying to find a way to leave this night alone
She’s coming around
Flying with the stars in the heaven
And hoping to find a way to ease the light along

Yeah Simon lives his life in a corner
And no he never seems to wonder
How to reconcile with the life he claims to seek
And he wears his cross like a badge of honor
While spewing hate and deriding others
Who would dare deny the dogma off his creed

But Simon Leahy has a daughter
And she won’t abide by his fear any longer
She opened up her mind
And now she’s learning to be free

And now she’s turning around
Moving in one direction
Trying to find a way to leave this night alone
She’s coming around
Flying with the stars in the heaven
And hoping to find a way to ease the light along
Hearts Afire
Like a bullet train, coming down the track
Straight ahead, no turning back
Traveling on, our hearts afire!
Straightaway, right through the night
With hearts that dream
A new morning light
Traveling on, our hearts’ afire

On the trail, out on the trail of time
On the trail, out on the trail of life
On the trail, out on the…
Out on the trail of that elusive light

Now when darkness comes,
To steal us away
May it be said, until our dying days
We held strong, our hearts’ afire
To free the Truth from behind the lies
With open hearts, and open minds
We held strong, our hearts’ afire

On the trail, out on the trail of time
On the trail, out on the trail of life
On the trail, out on…
Out on the trail of that elusive light

Yeah a bullet train, coming down the track
Straight ahead, no turning back
Traveling on, Our hearts’ afire

On the trail, out on the trail of life
On the trail, out on the trail of time
On the trail, out on the …
Out on the trail of that elusive light

Sun Down River
Sun down river
That’s where I sometimes go
To sit beneath the willows,
And to rest my soul

From high up on a vantage
I watch the sun going down
Still can’t hardly believe
This place I’ve found

Another dreamer
In a dreamers paradise
Where the sun lights up the land
Coming out of the shadows
And trying hard to understand

Timeless hero
Through your each and every disguise
Your warm heart of wisdom
All smothered in pride

Ageless mirror
Much older than the sea
And the deeper I explore
Well the more that I see

Another dreamer
In a dreamers paradise
Where the sun lights up the land
Coming out of the shadows
And reaching out to understand

Someday
Sometimes I lye awake in bed
And outside my window
A world full of people
Another sad and sordid sequel
And I wish I could find some way

To bring to life the things you said
To break down the poison
Elevate with reason
Celebrate the seasons
Wish I could find some way
And the dream it’s still alive
Like a torch from edge of time
In the dream of life
Waiting for someday to be realized

And in the rhythm’s of my head
Thoughts of the horizon
Smiles for the children
A more universal wisdom
Wish I could find some way

For in the letters that you sent
Lessons for all the ages
Written in your pages
Oh God I hope we make it
Wish I could find some way

And the dream it’s still alive
Like a torch from edge of time
In the dream of life
Waiting for someday to be realized

The Breaking Ground
Well I did not know
The way I was feeling
But there was something
There was just something in the air

And then all at once
My whole world was shaken
And I got this feeling
I had to find my way out

To the Breaking Ground!
On to the breaking ground

And what I did not know
I never once had imagined
Who would believe it
Who would conceive it anyhow
Ah, but there I was
Just like a fly high on the ceiling
Watching the whole wide world
Turning up side down

On the breaking ground
Out on the breaking ground
On the breaking ground
Out on the breaking ground

Yeah, on the Breaking Ground!
On the breaking ground
Out on the breaking ground

Well I did not know
The way I was feeling
There was just something
There was just something in the air
Above The Clouds
Like a flying angel
Floating high above the biosphere
She looks out her window
As the fine lines just disappear
And far ahead in the distance
Lye shorelines to the Ivory Coast
And out over the horizon
There’s a storm brewing up like a ghost

And now she just don’t know
No she doesn’t know anymore
I turned around she said
And I turned around once more
I had a look and then
I got myself down on the floor
And felt a little like I’d been here before
But I don’t know she said
Seems I don’t know you anymore

But someday in time
When it comes to your life
I hope you come to realize
And that you recognize
One World, One Love, One Vine

And now she’s standing there in the doorway
The moon shining off to one side
And many miles down below
She sees the mighty Himalayas rise
Running down the Yellow River
On a journey to the Yellow Sea
She's gonna dip her soul in the water
And to let her spirit run free

But now she just don’t know
No she doesn’t know anymore
I turned around she said
And I turned around once more
I had a look and then
I got myself down on the floor
And felt a little like I’d been here before
But I don’t know she said
Seems I don’t know you anymore

Stone Walls
I don’t know why
She said I don’t know why
I even try, why should I even try
When it makes no sense
When it makes no sense at all
Banging my head on these stone walls
But every time she says I’m lying awake
Filling time you know and trying to escape
And the wheels keep turning
In the back of my head
Here in the back of my head

As I look around, around
And every where I see
Their shady veils, you know their mockeries
And like a curtain drawn across the open sky
Don’t even think to ask my dear
It’s not for you to know why

But every time she says I’m lying awak
Killing time you know and dying to escape
And the wheels keep turning
In the back of my head
Here in the back of my head
Right in the back of my head
Here in the back of my head

But every morning, she’ll greet the sun
And every morning, she says I’ll…
Well you know that I’ll try
Yeah you know that I’ll try

But I don’t know why
She says I don’t know why
We even try, why do we even try
When it makes no sense
When it makes no sense at all
Banging our heads on these stone walls

But every time she says I’m lying awake
Filling time you know and trying to escape
And the wheels keep turning
In the back of my head
Here in the back of my head

One Vine
Forty thousand years and still searching
Out of the corners of my curious eyes
Through a flood of dreams and imagination
Down a river running deep and wide
On the wind of an inspiration
Beyond the fortress of that Human pride
Stands the true light of our existence
And this burning feeling
Deep inside… my mind

Where the ages flash bye
In just a heart beats time
And the branches converge to just one vine
And as I travel on through time,
Don’t you know I find

All the Nature of Creation
Well it’s the same no matter where you are
And from the shell of this fertile planet
We rise and fall, we rise and we fall
And though the tree
Has seen countless changes
And its shadow grown all the world wide
Well there’s an infant still within us
And it holds the truth deep inside… our minds
Where the ages flash bye
In just a heart beats time
And the branches converge to just one vine
And as I travel on through time,
Don’t you know I find
